-- Performance by Threshold Choir members (dubbed by Huffington Post "deathbed singers" and praised by NPR recently for dedication to the sick and dying).
7:30pm SCREENING
-- Screening begins with the WORLD PREMIERE of The Walking Gallery documentary featuring lead artist and founder of the Walking Gallery, Regina Holliday, and D.C. liaison / second lead, Courtney Mazza.
-- 73¢, a short film about Regina Holliday painting the mural that changed her life after her husband died: 73¢ on Connecticut Ave.
-- A documentary of Roger Anthony tattooing.
-- Clips from A Painted City by Caitlin Carrol highlighting D.C. muralist Regina Holliday.
-- St. Elizabeth's Art Therapy Program with the Criminally Insane, designed to improve self-image and inspire confidence in these outliers to "normal" society.
Following the Screening:
-- Work of Walking Art, Danyell Truesdale, will be tattooed by show artist Roger Anthony with CRACKS, reflecting her struggle as a child to cope with her mother's crack addiction.
-- Rebecca Menso, licensed massage therapist, will be offering healing massages to all guests throughout this event.
